The Challenge
By the time this project reached me, several mockups had already been produced by other designers on the team — but none had won the client over, and the account was close to being pulled entirely. My manager asked me to step in and design two fresh concepts strong enough to rebuild the client's confidence in what we could deliver.
My Approach
I spent long nights designing two distinct homepage directions while my manager assembled the tender documentation for the resubmission. Both concepts leaned into Uttarakhand's mountain and valley scenery, a clearer destination-discovery flow, and a mobile-first booking experience.
The Outcome
The client responded enthusiastically, and the project was secured. From there I worked as part of a team of three designers and six developers to bring the design to life — building the front end with Tailwind CSS, PHP, and jQuery for the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board.
